Programme Highlights
Using case studies as illustrations, this talk will discussed how Museums internationally are finding new ways to address contemporary issues that are of importance to today’s society, better connect their collections to communities, manage their collections and find creative ways for public engagement. The speaker will also share some of the broader challenges that Museums internationally face and how they have been coping with them.

Vinod Daniel is the Chairman of AusHeritage, CEO of India Vision Institute and the former Vice Chair of the International Council of Museums-Committee for Conservation. Over his career of more than two decades, he had worked at the J Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles and the Australian Museum in Sydney, published/presented over a hundred papers, worked on projects in over 35 countries and has over 150 articles in the media. He is currently working on projects with Egypt, USA, Australia, India and Germany.
