Mr Lawrence Wong will be attending the 37th United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) General Conference

  1. Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Mr Lawrence Wong, will be attending the 37th United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) General Conference in Paris, France, from 6 November to 8 November 2013.

  2. Mr Wong will address the General Conference in his capacity as the Chairman of the Singapore National Commission for UNESCO and meet with UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova, as well as representatives from other UNESCO Member States.

  3. Mr Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the National Heritage Board.
