Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu, will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to cheer on Team Singapore athletes at the Paralympic Games.

  1. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu, will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 15 – 17 September 2016 to cheer on Team Singapore athletes at the Paralympic Games. The contingent of 13 athletes from 6 sports is led by Chef de Mission Mr Ho Cheng Kwee. Swimmer Yip Pin Xiu is Team Singapore’s flag-bearer for the Games.

  2. Minister Fu said, “Every Team Singapore athlete has overcome immense challenges in life to represent our nation at the Paralympics. They have inspired all of us with their determination to succeed against all odds. Let’s cheer them on as they strive to bring glory to Singapore!”

  3. Minister Fu will be accompanied by officials from MCCY and Sport Singapore.
