Minister Grace Fu to visit Russia from 17–21 May 2016

Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Grace Fu will visit Sochi, Russia from 17 to 21 May 2016. During the visit, Ms Fu will attend the meeting of ASEAN-Russia Culture Ministers which commemorates the 20th year of Russia-ASEAN relations

  1. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Grace Fu will visit Sochi, Russia from 17 to 21 May 2016. During the visit, Ms Fu will attend The Meeting of ASEAN-Russia Culture Ministers which commemorates the 20th year of Russia-ASEAN relations.

  2. Taking place on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, this meeting will discuss ways to strengthen cultural ties between ASEAN countries and Russia. At the meeting, Ms Fu will deliver a speech on the cultural collaborations and exchanges between Russia and ASEAN. Ms Fu will also meet with her ASEAN and Russian counterparts.

  3. During the trip, Ms Fu is also expected to attend the inaugural Russia-ASEAN Festival of Culture. The festival aims to strengthen friendships between the countries and will involve leading artists of various genres from Russia and ASEAN countries. Singapore will be participating in the festival and will be represented by NADI Singapura (NADI) and The Peranakan Museum. More details on the Russian-ASEAN Festival of Culture and Singapore’s representation at the festival are in the accompanying annex.

  4. Ms Fu will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.
