Minister Lawrence Wong to visit Beijing from 16 – 18 April 2015

Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Mr Lawrence Wong will be in China, Beijing from 16 – 18 April 2015. This visit is part of the on-going efforts to strengthen bilateral youth and arts cooperation between Singapore and China.

  1. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Mr Lawrence Wong will be in China, Beijing from 16 – 18 April 2015. This visit is part of the on-going efforts to strengthen bilateral youth and arts cooperation between Singapore and China.

  2. During the visit, Mr Wong will be signing the following:

    1. Memorandum of Understanding between Singapore’s National Youth Council and the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF), with Mr He Junke, President of ACYF. The MOU will enable more opportunities for collaboration between both institutions.

    2. 7th Singapore-China Executive Programme, with Mr Luo Shugang, Culture Minister for the People’s Republic of China. This is part of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation between Singapore and China, which sets out broad areas of cooperation between both countries.

  3. Mr Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Youth Council.
