Our arts and culture events and museums attracted record attendance and visitors in 2019, according to the 2020 Singapore Cultural Statistics (SCS). The 2020 SCS shows that the following were achieved in 2019:
A. Attendance at arts and cultural events reached all-time high of 15.6 million
B. All-time high visitorship to institutions in the Museum Roundtable (MR) (comprising over 50 public and private museums and heritage galleries) at close to 9.6mil.
TICKETed attendance at Performing Arts events
Performing arts refer to folk, traditional, classical and contemporary forms of dance, music (pop/rock concerts included) and theatre. Ticketed attendance refers to attendance at performing arts events that require a ticket for entry. It includes tickets sold and complimentary tickets issued.

Includes attendance at performing arts events organised and supported by the National Arts Council, Esplanade and the People's Association, and events organised by the National Heritage Board (NHB) such as the Singapore Night Festival and the Singapore Heritage Festival. The figure excludes incidental viewership and events where attendance figures are unable to be determined.
