SG Youth Plan

The SG Youth Plan is a five-year action plan developed for youths, with youths, and supported by the whole of Singapore, to help every youth become the best version of themselves.

As part of SG60, MCCY, NYC, and our partners embarked on a nationwide effort to co-develop the SG Youth Plan. We reached out to over 60,000 youths and gathered more than 415,000 responses to co-shape a plan that reflects the voices of a generation. Youths from all walks of life shared their views on topics ranging from careers and well-being to relationships and civic action. Their voices and aspirations have shaped the SG Youth Plan.

The SG Youth Plan is a whole-of-society roadmap to empower young Singaporeans to become Confident, Connected, and Contributing citizens.

  • Confident: Empower youths to navigate uncertainty, build future-ready skills, and strengthen their mental and physical well-being.

  • Connected: Empower youths to form meaningful friendships, build stronger family relationships, and find places where they belong.

  • Contribute: Empower youths to make a difference through action, leadership, and voice in national decision-making.

The SG Youth Plan is Singapore’s commitment to support, empower, and journey with our youths as they overcome the challenges of their time and achieve their aspirations for themselves, and for Singapore.
