Somerset Belt

The Somerset Belt is taking shape as a vibrant youth precinct in the Orchard Road area, bringing together *SCAPE, Somerset Youth Park, and Somerset Skate Park as places for youths to gather, play, create and lead community initiatives.

Shaped by youth aspirations, ideas and voices, the precinct offers inclusive spaces for recreation, creative expression, experimentation, and community building.

Through initiatives such as Realise Your Somerset Project and Somerset Reset, youths are supported to bring ground-up programmes, activations, and placemaking ideas to life. They have also worked with planners and architects to co-create the detailed design – helping to shape a precinct that is for youth, by youth, and with youth.
